304-room hotel debuts five luxurious cabanas and accompanying amenities.
PLANO, TX – Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West welcomes summer with the unveiling of Zen Pool + Bar, including five new luxurious poolside cabanas, now available to reserve. The reimagined Zen Pool + Bar space is located on the hotel’s third floor rooftop and features a large pool, heated year round and surrounded by lounge chairs, a bar and grill with seating, the cabanas, and event space that may be reserved for private events. The rooftop pool overlooks sweeping views to the south all the way to the Dallas skyline and to the west for panoramic Texas sunset views.
The space features four Poolside Cabanas, each with a six guest capacity, and one VIP Cabana with a ten guest capacity. The cabanas and day passes to Zen Pool + Bar are available to purchase on ResortPass.com in half-day and full-day increments.
Zen Pool + Bar will serve guests a variety of light bites that are easy to share and enjoy poolside, along with a range of classic and signature cocktails from April to October. The juxtaposition of “East Meets West” found throughout the hotel is also reflected in the pool deck’s menu offering. Asian and Texan specialities from the hotel’s restaurant, Whiskey Moon, will be combined with seasonal cocktail offerings. The space will feature live music by local DJs every Saturday and will also host pop up retail shopping and activations in partnership with local vendors and stores from the adjacent luxurious Legacy West shopping center.
Amenities that pair perfectly with a summer day in the sun include:
- Bubbly: LaMarca prosecco served with orange and grapefruit juice for two guests
- Endless Summer: one carafe of a speciality cocktail served with bao buns, Texas wontons, and OMA meatballs for four guests
- Giddy Up: a flight of traditional, top chef, and jalapeño infused margaritas served with chops and housemade dips and brisket sliders for four guests
- Poolside Party: selection of 12 beers served with Thai chili glazed wings, sliders, and chips with housemade dips for eight guests
- The Local: a bucket of six craft beers or mocktails
- Total Tranquility: Fresh housemade juices and seasonal fruits for four guests and a sun kit for poolside skin protection

The hotel, blurring the lines of business and leisure with its “West meets Zen” design, welcomed its first guests in July of 2017, marking its fifth anniversary in July of 2022. The 304-room, 15-story contemporary landmark hotel designed by architects HKS, with interiors by Dallas-based Looney & Associates, sits at the intersection of Dallas North Tollway and State Highway 121, on the walking path to the popular mixed-use development, Plano Legacy West. Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West includes 30,000 square feet of flexible conference and meeting space, a state-of-the-art fitness center, three restaurant options, club level with lounge, and the Zen Pool + Bar with heated pool, new cabanas, outdoor bar, grill, and event space.
