Rotana announces the signing of a new agreement to manage luxury hotel apartment in Marrakech

Latest offering under the “Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana’ brand will be located in M Avenue – set to open before the end of 2018.

Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe, has announced the signing of a new agreement to manage an Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana property, for the first time in Morocco. The 140-key development will be located within M Avenue; the new high-end shopping, entertainment and residential destination in Marrakech.

Catering to business and leisure travellers, the property will feature modern facilities including three dining outlets, high-speed wireless internet access, an outdoor swimming pool, and a Bodylines Fitness & Wellness Club featuring a fully equipped gym, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.   As well as meeting rooms, conference and banquet halls to support the city’s steady emergence as a major MICE and events tourism destination

“We are very proud to have been selected to manage this superb property which will have great appeal to UK leisure and corporate travellers with Marrakech less than a four hour flight away. Consistently named among the world’s top tourism destinations, entering Rotana into this new market seems only natural.

“Our new Arjaan in Marrakech will offer everything guests need to be comfortable and productive, and will exude sophisticated elegance across all facets of the property. The hotel’s enviable location – in the heart of the stunning, upscale M Avenue – is a highlight in itself, and we are dedicated to offering all our guests a refined lifestyle experience that is second to none,” said Omer Kaddouri, President & CEO, Rotana.

An exclusive destination situated in the heart of Marrakech, M Avenue is set to become a major attraction in Marrakech. Connecting the old city of the east with the Menara Gardens in the west, M Avenue will create a new and vibrant destination offering an innovative mix of cultural attractions, premium hotels and residences, retail outlets, restaurants, art galleries and exhibition venues, along a 500-metre-long promenade entitled “Garden Avenue”.

“With its exceptional location and multidimensionality, M Avenue intends to play a central role in the lives of the region’s residents and tourists, providing a new way to experience Marrakech by weaving links between a rich heritage and modern Morocco. The fact that Rotana, the region’s premier hotel management company, has chosen to bring its decades of award-winning hospitality to M Avenue will help bring us closer towards realising this vision,” said Nabil Slitine, General Manager of Downtown Hotel Corporation, developer of M Avenue.
