Highly-esteemed hospitality leader joins sbe to manage latest luxury New York hotel.
NEW YORK – sbe, the leading lifestyle hospitality company that develops, manages and operates award-winning hospitality venues globally, announced that highly-esteemed hospitality executive Daniel Entenberg is joining as General Manager of SLS Park Avenue. Entenberg will orchestrate the launch of the hotel and manage its day-to-day operations. The highly-anticipated SLS Park Avenue is scheduled to open in Manhattan's trendy NoMad neighborhood in Spring 2017.

Entenberg has more than a decade of experience in the luxury hotel business, including success at stylish addresses in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Prior to his current role, he spent over three years leading Gramercy Park Hotel. Entenberg launched his career at W New York Hotel in 2001, also spending two years as Director of Operations at W New York Times Square. In Las Vegas, he rose to Executive Director of Hotel Operations at Palms Casino Resort. Prior to that, he spent a half-dozen years in Los Angeles with positions at W Los Angeles Hotel, Viceroy Santa Monica Hotel and Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
Entenberg holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Pennsylvania State University and was recently honored as a nominee for the 2016 New York City, Manager of the Year at the Hotel Excellence Awards.
SLS Park Avenue continues the tradition the SLS Hotel's brand of intrigue and luxury. Designed by the legendary Philippe Starck, it will feature 189 guest rooms and suites, a restaurant by Chef Jose Andres, S Bar basement bar and lounge and a rooftop lounge with outdoor terrace that will serve three meals day. Additionally, the hotel will have a private rooftop meeting room and 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Located in the heart of Manhattan's NoMad neighborhood, just blocks from the Empire State Building and Madison Square Garden, SLS Park Avenue will be a leading destination for New York City visitors and locals alike.
