The culinary brigade of Sharq Village and Spa bagged several medals throughout the culinary competition challenging all aspects of a chef’s expertise from master showpieces to live cooking signature dishes.
DOHA – Sharq Village and Spa participated in a total of seven categories. The gold medal was awarded to the Kitchen Artist Chef Godbery Daniel Jeyaraje for best “Novelty Cake” category while Executive Sous Chef Das Janardan, and Chef de Partie Shiv Prakash received a silver medal for the “Live Cooking” category. The three bronze medals were awarded to Chef de Partie Varun Raj for “Fresh Fours” segment, Chef de Partie Samer Labbad for “Arabic Mezze”, and Commis Chaminda Rakman for “Best Wedding Cake” category.
