Sheraton Bay Point Resort welcomes new Director of Operations

Adam Mayo joins distinguished resort team.

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLA. – Northwest Florida’s most celebrated resort, Sheraton Bay Point Resort welcomes Adam Mayo as the Director of Operations. With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Mayo will oversee all functional aspects of the 320-room property, including food and beverage operations at each of the five on-site restaurants at the newly renovated, AAA Four Diamond resort.

Mayo has held various leadership roles over the course of his successful career, most recently serving as the director of front office at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Austin, Texas with Crescent Hotels & Resorts. Honing a valuable understanding of growth oriented management in food and beverage and other hotel and resort outlets, Mayo’s highly-awarded property portfolio includes management positions at Bardessono Hotel & Spa in Yountville, Calif., Ocean Key Resort in Key West, Fla., Gasparilla Inn and Club in Boca Grande, Fla., and Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort in Orlando, Fla. Mayo holds an associate’s degree in Hospitality Administration and Management from Daytona State College.
