Sheraton Boston unveils multi-million dollar renovation

Sheraton Boston debuts transformation of 450 deluxe guest rooms, new restaurant Cafe Apropos and full service spa.

BOSTON – Sheraton Hotels & Resorts announced the completion of an extensive multi-million dollar renovation of the Sheraton Boston Hotel. The hotel now showcases a transformed 450 deluxe guest rooms in addition to enhancements to the public areas of the hotel, most notably a new look for the hotel restaurant – Cafe Apropos and a new spa Green Tangerine.

Located in the heart of downtown, the Sheraton Boston offers easy access to the nearby boutiques of Newbury Street and is focused on providing guests with a comfortable, dynamic and enjoyable stay. With this in mind, the deluxe guestrooms feature new lighting, window treatments, artwork and wall coverings that offer a relaxing and refined ambiance. Renovations also include a refreshed lobby with new comfortable inviting furniture in two seating areas. On June 16th the hotel is opening Green Tangerine Spa, a 5,500 square foot full service spa. Once open, the Sheraton Boston will be the only Starwood Convention Collection Hotel in the U.S. to offer this service.

One of the most impactful changes is the opening of the newly renovated Cafe Apropos. This stylish downtown restaurant presents American cuisine in a transformed and energetic atmosphere. The culinary team, led by Executive Chef Chad Kennedy, provide an extraordinary dining experience for guests in this new space that features an interactive Chef’s Kitchen.

At the heart of the transformed lobby, guests will enjoy the signature Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft” – a relaxed space with complimentary wireless broadband where guests can socialize and connect with friends, both old and new. All guest rooms offer the all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, designed to meet AAA’s Five Diamond Award criteria, an oversized work desk, ergonomic chair, high-speed Internet and 42-inch flat panel television. Sheraton Club guests enjoy upgraded amenities, as well as complimentary breakfast, beverages and evening hors d’oeuvres in the Sheraton Club Lounge.
