Six Continents Hotels has appointed Jean Baptiste Pigeon as general manager for the Crowne Plaza Beirut in Lebanon.
With more than 20 years of global experience in the hospitality industry, Jean Baptiste joined the InterContinental brand in 1984 and was previously general manager at both the prestigious Europa InterContinental in Brussels and the Hammamet InterContinental Resort in Tunisia.
Opened last summer, the Crowne Plaza Beirut is located in Hamra Street, once known as the Champs Elysees of Beirut. The 198-room Crowne Plaza Beirut is a short stroll away from the corniche overlooking the Mediterranean, and just 15 minutes from the airport.
