Six Senses Kocatas Mansions reopens in Istanbul

Six Senses Kocatas Mansions, overlooking Istanbul’s legendary Bosphorus, is once again welcoming guests to enjoy its extraordinary style and setting.

Located in the stylish Sariyer district of Istanbul’s European side, the resort offers an urban retreat created in heritage mansions surrounded by laurel trees. And in order to celebrate its reopening, the resort has put together a very special welcome offer with rates starting from EUR 260 that include daily breakfast and guaranteed complimentary upgrades to Bosphorus View guest rooms and suites.

Recently awarded “The Safe Tourism Certificate” by the Turkish Tourism board, the resort ensures compliancy with strict guidelines recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). Touchless hand sanitizers have been installed throughout the hotel; guest temperatures are checked upon arrival; accommodations are disinfected by fogging machine and ULV lights 24 hours before guest arrivals.

When it comes to dining, guests are requests to make advance bookings. All restaurants and bars are open with outdoor elements and have been arranged to ensure social distancing compliance. To enjoy the summer breeze, additional seating has been provided in the outdoor garden and destination dining can also be arranged at the top of the courtyard. For activities, guests are welcome to use the gym and relaxing pool on a complimentary basis, however these facilities will be available by reservation only so that the hotel is able to monitor guest numbers.

Defne Restaurant, positioned adjacent to the Sait Pasa Mansion, offers menus based on the Eat With Six Senses philosophy. Adjoining the property is a heritage Ottoman cistern that has been converted into a restaurant by a skilled restoration team. This all-day dining venue offers guests a contemporary take on traditional Turkish cuisine. Toro Latin GastroBar, by world-famous restaurateur Richard Sandoval, takes guests on a culinary and cultural journey of Istanbul with his signature dishes. Inspired by Pan Latin and Asian cuisines, the restaurant offers outdoor seating and tastes from Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Colombia together with cocktails made by skilled mixologists. True to its signature opulence, Kahve Lounge welcomes guests for traditional and classic afternoon teas in a bohemian-style gilded hall or in the greenery courtyard.
