Six Senses Ninh Van Bay unveils The Water Retreat

Six Senses Zil Pasyon, Private four-bedroom.

The Water Retreat’s location is secluded and accessible by a private speedboat or walkway. Six Senses Zil Pasyon also adds a new four-bedroom residence to its guest accommodations.

NINH VAN BAY, VIETNAM – Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is thrilled to premier the latest addition to the resort – The Water Retreat. The three-bedroom villa is set at the water’s edge on the dramatic rock formations of a private bay and spreads over 9,687 square feet (900 square meters) with spectacular and uninterrupted sunset views.

The Water Retreat’s location is secluded and accessible by a private speedboat or walkway. An infinity-edge pool blends naturally with the horizon and surrounding boulders. Comprising three free-standing pavilions, there is a two-story living area with a dining room on the ground floor and living room on the upper floor. A master and second bedroom both have ensuite bathrooms that feature handmade wooden bathtubs and showers. The upper floor of the living room pavilion can be converted to a third bedroom with separate facilities.

This spacious lifestyle retreat offers living and dining areas for up to nine guests, which is ideal for an intimate gathering with family and friends. There is also a water slide to the pool and a wine fridge. Available round the clock to help epitomize a home-away-from-home experience, a dedicated GEM (Guest Experience Maker) can arrange a poolside barbecue and outdoor cinema screening or schedule the day’s activities.

Although a full range of facilities is available in the resort, guests who check into The Water Retreat may find it hard to leave. In-villa dining goes beyond the ordinary as breakfasts and lunches can be enjoyed from a floating tray-table in the pool, while barbecue dinners are prepared and served by a private chef in the outdoor and indoor dining area after pre-dinner drinks overlooking a magical sunset reflected across the bay. Guests can also enjoy an in-villa spa treatment, private yoga session by the poolside or snorkel on the house reef.

Andrew Whiffen, general manager of Six Senses Ninh Van Bay commented, “The Water Retreat showcases the ultimate in tropical escapism. We aim to create an experience that will engage our guests in moments of relaxation, fun and surprise. We truly see it as a place to reconnect and be inspired. Being primed as the best premium three-bedroom villa in the region, we are proud to offer such an exceptional accommodation option to our guests.”

Six Senses Zil Pasyon Introduces the Private Four-Bedroom Residence
Six Senses Zil Pasyon also adds a new four-bedroom residence to its guest accommodations. Covering a total area of 15,242 square feet (1,416 square meters), this jewel is quite disconnected and perched on one of the highest points of the island to offer almost 360-degree views of the Indian Ocean, Felicite and its surrounding islands.

Comprising collectible pieces of ultramodern furniture, contemporary and classical art, cultural antiques and first edition books, each room follows its own style and design, yet all blend together in harmony. From Helmut Newton’s classic black and white photography to King Kong-inspired creations, the main living room on the lower level is a gallery in itself, with unexpected works of art that pop up in each corner. With white being the predominant color, the natural light that comes through the floor-to-ceiling windows enhances the simplicity of the living room’s modern interior design. The granite rock formation embodies the ethos of stealth architecture, blending into the colors, textures and natural drama of this Seychellois island paradise.

The living room leads to a terrace with a sundeck, sun beds, outdoor dining table and a 990 square foot (92 square meter) infinity swimming pool. It has an adjacent game room and an avant-garde bar, plus a gourmet kitchen equipped with leading-edge appliances and private wine cellar.

The lower floor features three high-style spacious bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom with double vanities, an open-air bathtub and all offering striking island views. A staircase inspired by an old bookstore leads to the upper floor, which is reserved for the master bedroom. Large windows take the place of walls, offering panoramic views to the ocean. As a playful touch, the master bedroom features its own pool deck and a 177 square foot (16.5 square meter) glass-bottom swimming pool, which allows light to filter into the living space below. There is also a spacious bathroom with an iridescent mosaic that creates a colorful play of light. Mark Leslie, general manager of Six Senses Zil Pasyon says, “With the addition of the Private Four-Bedroom Residence, Six Senses Zil Pasyon enters a new era of boldness-meets-art. Surrounded by modern and classic art, our guests will instantly feel like they are living in the heart of a contemporary artist’s studio and timemachine that navigates between past, present and future.”
