Sofitel So Bangkok, scheduled to open late 2011 as the city’s first truly urban design hotel, is recruiting young dynamic professionals by inviting applicants to log on to its [email protected] www.facebook.com/SofitelSoBangkok from August 15 onwards and answer the campaign call of “Are You So?”, which begins the countdown to a mass recruitment event to be held at Siam Paragon on September 10-11.
Targeted is a new generation of innovative youngsters who are fast learners and thinkers, and capable of multi-tasking. Candidates will be challenged to express their qualities that should marry up with the hotel’s unique character, encapsulated as “SCDPS” – stylish, creative, dynamic, playful and sociable.
When logging on to the hotel’s Facebook for applying, candidates will also be eligible to enter the “So Snapshot” contest. To join in, contestants simply have to go to Lumpini Park, which Sofitel So Bangkok so stunningly overlooks, and take a snapshot on their mobile phone of themselves with the hotel in the background. The So Snapshot winner will be one of the very first trendsetters with an iPad 3 in town. The other prizes also include iPod Touch and iPhone Dock Speakers.
As a grand finale to the “Are You So?” campaign, the hotel will host a mass recruitment event at Siam Paragon’s Infinity Hall 5th floor on September 10-11 from 10.00-20.00hrs. Here, applicants will have the chance to meet with the hotel’s pre-opening team, experience what Sofitel So Bangkok is all about, and gain an insight into the unique character of the So label. Photos from the “So Snapshot” contest will also be posted at the event.
Equally characteristic is the hotel’s friendly and accessible approach, and the event will not be all career discussions, with applicants invited to enjoy a fun environment and express themselves in cool games and have the chance to win lucky prizes.
