SREE Hotels to acquire Embassy Suites Charlotte for $32 million

SREE Hotels plans an eight million dollar renovation to upgrade the interior and exterior, including all guest suites, the meeting/banquet space, lobby and atrium, as well as integrating a new F & B Outlet into the atrium area.

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – SREE Hotels, LLC, a fully integrated hotel development and management company based in Charlotte, North Carolina, today announced the acquisition of the 274-suite Embassy Suites Charlotte. SREE Hotels plans an eight million dollar renovation to upgrade the interior and exterior, including all guest suites, the meeting/banquet space, lobby and atrium, as well as integrating a new F & B Outlet into the atrium area. The newly renovated property will incorporate a modern and contemporary design unlike any other in the Charlotte market.

Located at 4800 South Tryon Street, the Embassy Suites Charlotte offers convenient access to Uptown Charlotte and Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and is in close proximity to area business parks, Carowinds Amusement Park, NASCAR, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and the U.S. National Whitewater Center. The hotel is also an ideal location for all of Charlotte’s based businesses including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Belk, Compass Group, Siemens Energy, NASCAR teams, Coca Cola, Piedmont Natural Gas and many others.

The hotel features the brand’s signature amenities including its free made-to-order breakfast, a two-hour complimentary Evening Reception with snacks and beverages, two-room suites with a separate living area, private bedroom, WiFi, 32-inch LCD televisions, a wet bar fitted with a microwave, a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. Guests have access to the 24-hour fitness center and an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa. The eight-story full-service hotel provides a total of 8,597 square feet of space to accommodate functions of up to 400 people, the onsite restaurant – Omaha Steakhouse serving lunch and dinner, and offers a complimentary shuttle within three miles of the hotel.
