SRS-WORLDHOTELS has put the spotlight on eleven of its most distinctive member hotels in Germany with a joint marketing initiative designed to accentuate their individual decor, unique architecture and superior service standards. Called Private Hotels Germany, its aim is to achieve a stronger market share for the hotels in their respective regions and promote Germany as a destination. To this end, they are focusing on a direct marketing strategy coupled with advertising campaigns and promotions.

In addition to buffet breakfast and a welcome basket of fruit, guests of any of the eleven Private Hotels Germany establishments receive 500 frequent flyer miles per reservation (with the exception of some special promotional rates). These can be redeemed with any of eight frequent flyer programs offered by SRS-WORLDHOTELS partner airlines (Lufthansa Miles & More, ANA Mileage Club, Asiana Club, Delta SkyMiles, Thai Royal Orchid Plus, United Airlines Mileage Plus, Varig Smiles and American Airlines AAdvantage).

The privately operated hotels, situated in some of Germany`s most historically significant cities, take special pride in being able to offer their guests that certain something, be it the restaurant, charmingly reminiscent of the Orient Express, at the Seaside Park Hotel in Leipzig, or the exclusive Cigar Lounge at the Hotel Savoy in Berlin. The great variety offered by Private Hotels Germany is exemplified, for instance, by the contrast between the modern Ku`Damm 101 in Berlin and the richly traditional Grand Hotel Russischer Hof in Weimar. Situated directly on the Kurfuerstendamm, the designer hotel Ku`Damm 101 is equally well-suited for business travel and inspiring mini-vacations. A small garden behind the hotel creates an inviting oasis far removed from the big city bustle just beyond its doors. The hotel`s interior and furnishings are predominantly puristic and futuristic in design, providing an elegant ambience of comfort and well-being, which is complemented by the hotel`s excellent service standards. Following a busy day of meetings in one of eight hotel conference rooms, or an exciting sightseeing excursion, hotel guests can pursue physical and spiritual wellness with the guidance of a fitness trainer and alternative health practitioner. The hotel offers a special weekend rate of 101 Euros per night.

The Grand Hotel Russischer Hof is one of the most richly traditional hotels in Weimar, a city ranking among Europe`s premier cultural capitals. A stay there promises to take guests on a journey through history. Famous figures from the past such as Leo Tolstoi, Franz Liszt and Friedrich Hebbel once resided at this venerable hotel. During the course of its existence, the hotel has often been the venue of large society affairs, a tradition it honors to this day as the host of frequent cultural events. Its opulent interior is tastefully decorated with gold leaf, Bohemian crystal and mahogany. Today the Grand Hotel Russischer Hof, a member of the SRS-WORLDHOTELS Deluxe Collection, offers its guests the highest standards of comfort behind an officially listed, Classical facade built in 1805. The

hotel`s highly traditional flair is enhanced by its coffee house, which pays homage to Viennese coffee house culture with its very own confectionery. The establishment`s recently opened Restaurant Anastasia offers its guests both Austrian and Thuringian specialties, while Rasputins Keller, with its original tuff stone vaults, provides a charmingly rustic ambience. The hotel offers not only a gym and wellness facilities, but also seven meeting rooms equipped with modern conference technology. The Grand Hotel Russischer Hof also offers a weekend special of 101 Euros per night.

Other Private Hotels Germany members include: Hotel Alexander Plaza (Berlin), Hotel Savoy (Berlin), Seaside Park Hotel Leipzig, Hotel am Terrassenufer (Dresden), Atrium Hotel Mainz, Kastens Hotel Luisenhof (Hannover), Hotel am Triller (Saarbruecken), Hotel Eisenhut (Rothenburg) and Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl (Garmisch-Partenkirchen).
