NEW YORK – Star Hospitality Group announced that Lance Herman has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the company’s growing hotel staffing division. Herman most recently served as Area Manager for citizenM as the Dutch brand planned for, and then successfully launched, its initial presence in the New York market. Prior to working with citizenM, he served as General Manager for multiple properties representing the full spectrum of boutique and national hotel brands.

Star HG is currently developing new and scalable service platforms that address increasing segmentation and brand-specific trends in the industry, as well as a variety of risk management initiatives that build on the company’s already best-in-class reputation for high performance, low employee turnover, and training. In addition to leading those efforts, Herman will work to enhance other value-added aspects of client relationships, compliance matters, workforce development and general stewardship of the Star Hospitality Group brand.
