StepStone Hospitality awarded management of The Ames Boston Hotel

Landmark Boston Hotel becomes fast-growing company's 11th Managed Hotel.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – StepStone Hospitality announced it has taken over management of the Ames Boston Hotel, increasing the number of properties in its portfolio to 11 and continuing the company’s rapid growth. In a recent surge, the company has more than doubled the number of hotels in its portfolio during the past six months. Rhode Island-based StepStone is a hospitality management company specializing in hotel and restaurant operations.

“We’re eager to grow our hotel portfolio and the Ames is an excellent addition for us,” stated Thomas Russo, StepStone Hospitality chairman and CEO. “This is a world-class property with an exceptional location in one of America’s most historic and vibrant cities.”

The Ames Boston Hotel is located in the historic Ames Building in the heart of Boston and is situated near historic Faneuil Hall and Beacon Hill. With 114 rooms, it provides a rich experience of elegant interpretations and an innovative design. With an atmosphere that is both refined and playful, suites are accented by dramatic Romanesque arched windows and original fireplaces in the historic building.

Located at 1 Court Street, the hotel offers intimate settings for business meetings for up to 55 guests. The Ames Boston offers all smoke-free rooms and a 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center. Complimentary bicycles are available to guests on a first-come, first-served basis and may be reserved through the concierge.
