Abdullah Ali Al-Majid Est. entered into a hotel management agreement with Swiss-Belhotel International head-quartered in Hong Kong, for a new four star hotel property to be known as Swiss-Belhotel Doha, Suites & Residences.
The new hotel will be the third for the Swiss-Belhotel International group in the Middle East region. A soft opening of the hotel is slated for March 2008.
The hotel and residences have been designed in a twin-tower configuration with one tower dedicated to residential living spaces and the other, hotel rooms, suites and facilities, atop a luxury shopping mall.
“Qatar’s economy has progressed and diversified significantly, and is now recognized for its burgeoning business sector and resource development in terms of natural and liquid gases. While Doha has become one of the Middle East’s thriving business hubs, the city continues to rapidly develop its tourism infrastructure with an increasing number of new hotels including Swiss-Belhotel Doha, Suites & Residences,” said Mr Gavin Faull, President, Swiss-Belhotel International
