Tavisca Solutions integrates Booking.com Hotel Distribution XML

Travel agencies operating on the 'travelnxt' platform can now access Booking.com's API that offers more than half a million bookable properties, with 22 types of different properties in over 200 nations.

EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA – Tavisca Solutions announces Hotel Distribution XML integration of Booking.com, a global wholesaler of Hotel content and Inventory.

Travel agencies operating on the ‘travelnxt’ platform can now access Booking.com’s API that offers more than half a million bookable properties, with 22 types of different properties in over 200 nations.

The integration has helped tavisca to produce enriched and augmented content which in turn has increased its property count. “Having worked with a multitude of suppliers, I can totally vouch for the power of ONE supplier – Booking.com. Our unique property count has increased by 2x with this integration,” said Anupama Atmuri, Product Manager, Tavisca Solutions. “In terms of volume, Booking.com is equivalent to 20 other suppliers. On the content side, they provide excellent property coverage in Europe and Latin America and are on parity for other regions,” she added.

This incorporation of Booking.com’s API has increased travelnxt’s total number of hotel inventory by almost 100%, resulting in a prominent increase of 0.5 million properties. Apart from absolute enriched content which is readily available, travelnxt’s total number of hotel images has shot up by 45% approximately.

This integration will benefit travelnxt users, as follows:

  • Reduced ‘Time to Market’ with Booking.com as a supplier.
  • Enables OTAs to take advantage of improved hotel search features and access Booking.com’s offering of more than half a million bookable properties across over 200 nations.
  • Enrich booking experience and credibility with User Generated Content, such as reviews and ratings.

“We are pleased to integrate with Booking.com’s distribution XML to provide consumers from around the globe with easy technical access to the best hotel inventory provider. This will considerably reduce the go-to-market time for our clients who want to work with booking.com as a supplier,” said Varun Jain, Co-Founder, Tavisca Solutions.

With this integration, the travelnxt booking platform now has access to over 750,000 hotel inventory. There is a visible increase in the property count in particular countries, especially Europe and Latin America which are two of the most desired tourist destinations.
