While Tentrr sites are built on above ground platforms with 100% rain-proof canvas wall tents and memory foam mattresses, we all know that rain can dampen daytime fun in the great outdoors.
As part of the partnership, Tentrr campers can now protect their outdoor experiences by adding Sensible’s Weather Guarantee coverage to bookings at over 1,200 Tentrr campsites. Weather Guarantees automatically reimburse campers when rain impacts their stay at a Tentrr site.

Sensible Weather uses sophisticated climate data models to determine the chance of rain during a stay at a Tentrr site. During the booking process on Tentrr.com, the guest is offered the option to purchase the “Rain Guarantee” at checkout for their campsite reservations. The price for this guarantee is a nominal percentage of the nightly rate. Once selected, if rain is forecasted to occur during a covered Tentrr reservation, Sensible Weather automatically texts the camper a link to easily collect their reimbursement each morning of their trip. Rain Guarantee payments are processed immediately, with payouts based on the number of hours the experience is negatively impacted by weather. For example, Sensible recently paid a Tentrr camper 100% reimbursement on their daily Tentrr rate for rain on a March camping trip at Clarkco State Park in Mississippi.
