The main instructor of the Masterclass is multiple award winner Thanida Amornvatin, Specialty Thai Chef at Centara Grand Resort & Spa Maldives with a decade of professional experience in Thai cuisine.
A highly specialized seminar in Thai cooking designed for professional chefs will be held from May 5th to May 8th, 2014, in Phuket, Thailand. Titled the Thai Cooking Masterclass, this four-day seminar is being co-organized by Centara Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain of Thailand, and TravelDailyNews Media Network.
By attending the Masterclass, chefs will learn the secrets of the growingly popular Thai cuisine from one of the country’s top culinary professionals. The event is aimed mainly at hotel chefs, however, people working at freestanding restaurants might also find it worthwhile attending the Masterclass.
The Masterclass will focus on popular and lesser-known traditional Thai dishes and also includes a session about a more contemporary approach to Thai food. The full range of Thai food – appetizers, soups, salads, curry pastes, stir-fried dishes, rice dishes, noodles and desserts – will be presented during the Masterclass.
The main instructor of the Masterclass is multiple award winner Thanida Amornvatin, Specialty Thai Chef at Centara Grand Resort & Spa Maldives with a decade of professional experience in Thai cuisine. Chef Thanida has staged Thai food promotions and worked in Thailand, Middle East, Europe and Maldives, so she is no stranger to the challenges of producing authentic Thai food in kitchens different from what one might find in the Kingdom.
“We are excited to partner with Centara Hotels & Resorts and to offer such a high-quality learning experience at an affordable price,” says Prof. Dimitris Koutoulas, initiator of the TravelDailyNews Masterclass Series. “Having Chef Thanida as the main instructor ensures the high level of our Masterclass, as she is very experienced in preparing Thai cuisine for an international clientele. We are expecting professional chefs from around the world to attend this event and especially chefs working at hotels.”
This seminar will be held at the Centara Grand West Sands Resort & Villas on the island of Phuket in Thailand. There are frequent flights connecting Phuket with most Asian, Australian and Middle Eastern hubs.
The TravelDailyNews Masterclass Series comprises several high-level seminars aimed at senior hospitality industry professionals. Curated by Prof. Dr. Dimitris Koutoulas, a long-time expert of the hospitality and tourism industry, these intensive seminars are taught by highly experienced professionals. This series of seminars was first launched in Europe and are now expanding globally.
