Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York, formerly known as Hotel Central Fifth Avenue New York, will offer guestrooms featuring a sophisticated design that combines modern comfort with functionality.

NEW YORK – The Ascott Limited (Ascott), a Singapore company that is one of the leading international serviced residence owner-operators, announced the debut of Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York, a boutique hotel centrally located steps away from Times Square and Fifth Avenue in New York City. Following an extensive renovation, Ascott's first Citadines property in the United States offers 125 newly refurbished rooms. Citadines is well recognized globally with numerous international accolades since it was established more than 30 years ago.

Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York, formerly known as Hotel Central Fifth Avenue New York, will offer guestrooms featuring a sophisticated design that combines modern comfort with functionality. In the lobby, guests will have use of a large shared community table and seating area where they can interact and exchange travel ideas with fellow visitors. At the 24-hour grab and go gourmet deli corner, guests can enjoy daily complimentary continental breakfast before getting into the New York City action.

Located at 15 West 45th Street in the heart of Manhattan, Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York is steps away from the Theatre District and Rockefeller Center, and a 10-minute walk from key attractions such as the Empire State Building, Museum of Modern Art and Grand Central Station.

Quarterly, the hotel will partner with a local food and beverage outpost to showcase their products, as well as engage guests and locals through a pop-up experience bringing an aspect of New York City to guests' fingertips. Additionally, the front desk attendants, simply known as "Connectors," will be able to offer insider tips, local hotspots, eatery favorites and off the beaten track recommendations.

"We are thrilled to launch Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York as our first Citadines property in the U.S. and it speaks volumes about our confidence in the market. We are incredibly excited to expose future guests of Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York to a new way of hospitality by authentically connecting them to New York City," said General Manager Lewiston Murray. "Our goal is to offer modern comforts, business connectivity and customized services that complement our guests' lifestyle."

Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York will build upon the strong reputation of Ascott's international network of over 120 Citadines properties with more than 20,000 units in over 20 countries across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. Following the opening of Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York in September 2018, Ascott is slated to open Citadines Connect Cupertino Sunnyvale in Silicon Valley in the second half of 2019.

Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York will offer a variety of guestroom types ranging from premier rooms with king or double beds to one-bedroom suites that come with a separate living area. Guests will be able to enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and have access to a 24-hour business center and reception, as well as laundry and dry-cleaning services.
