The ‘Beach Butler’ – New app makes poolside dining easy

‘Beach Butler’ – which is only available at Kempinski Hotel Bahia – allows guests at the hotel to use their smartphone to order food, cocktails and soft drinks from the app’s attractive ‘digital menu’.

The Kempinski Hotel Bahia, Marbella-Estepona, is thrilled to announce the launch of ‘Beach Butler’ – a new mobile app which allows guests to order food and drink from the comfort of their sun lounger.

The five-star hotel, situated in the heart of Spain’s Costa del Sol, has produced ‘Beach Butler’ in partnership with iRiS Software Systems, an award-winning interactive guest services application creator.

‘Beach Butler’ – which is only available at Kempinski Hotel Bahia – allows guests at the hotel to use their smartphone to order food, cocktails and soft drinks from the app’s attractive ‘digital menu’.

Food and drink orders made via the app will be delivered electronically to the hotel kitchen, and then delivered to the customer’s table as they relax around the hotel’s stunning pool.
The app will also be multilingual, reflecting the wide range of nationalities which make their way to the hotel each year.

London-based iRiS Software Systems have previously worked with a host of other major hotel brands, including Mandarin Oriental, Orient Express, Starwood, Hilton, Accor, Swire, as well as with a number of independents.

Felicia Nekmouche, Kempinski account manager for iRiS, said: “This was a special project for us, as this is the first time ‘Beach Butler’ has been deployed.”

We think Kempinski Hotel Bahia is the perfect place for our new app to launch and we’re supremely confident that ‘Beach Butler’ will add an extra level of convenience and freedom to each guests’ stay.”

Kempinski Hotel Bahia is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, and has, in recent years, established close links with some of the best courses on the Costa del Sol – resulting in a surge of golf-related bookings.

Guests can experience no fewer than five of Europe’s top 100 courses – Valderrama, San Roque (Old), La Reserva, Sotogrande and Finca Cortesin – with exclusive golf packages available, including buggy hire and return transfers to each course.

Aside from the exceptional choice of golf courses, Kempinski Hotel Bahia is only a 45-minute drive from Malaga airport and 30 minutes from Gibraltar and is also the ideal base for visitors to discover the many cultural delights the region has to offer.

The hotel offers a variety of excellent Mediterranean cuisine created from freshly-collected produce from the hotel’s private organic garden. In addition, it also features a luxury spa, fitness centre and beach club.
