The Encore Club at Reunion in Orlando, Florida delivers first vacation rental homes

Luxury resort community is seeing strong investment activity from Brazil, the United Kingdom, Dubai and China.

ORLANDO, FL – Visitors to Central Florida can now get more house for their money. The Encore Club at Reunion, a master-planned vacation rental community in Orlando, has completed its first 77 homes, offering guests luxury and convenience a fraction of the price of nearby hotels – and presenting investors an opportunity to own a piece of the world’s vacation capital and the U.S.’s number one tourism destination.

Developed by Florida-based Encore Capital Management, The Encore Club features luxury homes comprising between five and 13 bedrooms intended as vacation rentals for families and groups. All told, 240 of the development’s 742 homes have been sold to investors from around the world. Brazil, the United Kingdom, Dubai and China round out the project’s most active international feeder markets.

With home prices ranging from the mid-$300,000s to mid-$700,000s, buyers at Encore Resort Homes at Reunion are drawn to the development’s attractive home values, which are significantly less-expensive than competing markets such as South Florida. They are also lured by Central Florida’s standing as a top-tier vacation destination. Orlando welcomed a record-setting 62 million visitors in 2014, according to Visit Orlando, with more than 30 million room nights sold.

“Orlando’s tourism market is on fire and we expect demand to increase with time, driving interest among investors from all corners of the globe who are looking to own a piece of that growth,” said Art Falcone, Founding Partner of Encore Capital Management. “Luxurious, perfectly located and rich with amenities, Encore Resort Homes at Reunion is like no other vacation rental resort in Central Florida. Our homes will appeal to visitors the same way it’s appealing to buyers.”

Encore Resort Homes at Reunion offers open floor plans, in-ground pools, two-car garages and fiber-optic technology. The size and configuration of these homes are conducive to large groups and multigenerational families, which make up the fastest-growing segment of the tourism sector. A recent study by AAA found that 36% of American families planned to take travel with their children, parents or grandparents this year, a 4% increase over last year. Vacation rental homes are significantly more affordable than comparable hotels: the cost of a 4-star, 5-bedroom home at The Encore Club begins at $60 per couple, per room, per night, versus upwards of $300 per-room, per night at nearby 4-star hotels.

“Encore Resort Homes at Reunion is a perfect fit for multigenerational families and large groups looking to travel to Orlando without breaking up, and without breaking the bank,” says James Schumaker, EVP of Global Sales and Marketing for Encore Capital Management. “Because the rental program and our grounds are independently managed, the vacation rental model allows buyers to enjoy an income-generating investment without the hassle of hands-on maintenance.”

Located in Osceola County off Interstate 4, Encore Resort Homes at Reunion is situated just 5 minutes from Walt Disney World® and other Orlando area theme parks. The development includes a 15,900-square-foot full service clubhouse with restaurants, an upscale bar and lounge, state of the art fitness center, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts as well as access to many other of Reunion’s recreational facilities. Guests can access 24-hour front desk service, onsite ticketing for parks and attractions, digital concierge service, kids club with programing and activities, complimentary theme park shuttle service and grocery delivery.

Guests also have access to an aqua park and pool complex with a 50 ft. aqua drop, double mat racer, water slides, splash pool, and private cabanas. Reunion Resort is also a golfer’s paradise, the only destination in the world offering three signature courses designed by legends Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson with a Reunion golf club membership.
