NAPLES, FL – The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club in Southwest Florida has received the prestigious “Pinnacle Award” for 2015 from Successful Meetings magazine. This marks the 12th consecutive year the resort has received the honor, which recognizes the best meeting hotels, destinations, and conference centers, as determined by votes by the magazine’s readers. The award will be presented to Jason Parsons, general manager of the 319-room resort, which is Southwest Florida’s only resort directly on the beach with an on-site championship golf course, a world-class spa, and an award-winning tennis center. The 125-acre resort features 34,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and many beautiful outdoor venues.
Considered one of the most prestigious awards in the meetings industry, Successful Meetings magazine’s “Pinnacle Award” is given only to those hotels, resorts, and conference centers that represent the highest standards of excellence. The award is determined by votes from corporate and association meeting planners, as well as event and incentive specialists. The awarded hotels and organizations were selected for doing an outstanding job servicing their meetings, incentive travel programs, trade shows, and conventions during the previous year. The winning hotels and resorts will be recognized in Successful Meetings’ annual “Best of the Best” supplement, provided with the magazine’s August 2015 issue, and online on www.SuccessfulMeetings.com.
“Receiving the Pinnacle Award for the 12th consecutive year is a wonderful and very prestigious honor, that reflects what an outstanding choice The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club is for meetings, conventions, incentive programs, and events,” said Parsons. “This also recognizes our entire staff for consistently doing a great job, as well as our newly renovated facilities, outstanding amenities, and our resort’s incredible beachfront setting.”
Not resting on its many laurels, the resort spent more than $45 million in impressive renovations and enhancements over the last few years, which included the renovation of its 319 guest rooms and suites, the opening (in January 2013) of a new Gulf-view ballroom named The Everglades Room, the complete renovation of the resort’s Gulf-side meeting rooms (in 2013), the expansion and renovation of its popular The Sunset Beach Bar & Grill, and the addition (in 2010) of a beautiful new beachfront pool complex with two pools, two whirlpools, and a pool bar with food service.
