The historic New Yorker Hotel, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, offers leisure guests and business travelers free internet access in all hotel rooms. This complimentary feature comes on the heels of the hotel’s recent $70 million renovation project which included the installation of a Wi-Fi Internet access system powered by a 44 megabyte, fiber optic pipeline.
A higher bandwidth option is available for large business applications for a fee of $9.95 for 24 hours. "Both business and leisure guests can stay connected with friends, family, and colleagues from the comfort of their hotel room free-of-charge," said Thomas McCaffrey, director of sales and marketing for The New Yorker Hotel.
