This complimentary feature comes on the heels of the hotel’s recent $70 million renovation project which included the installation of a Wi-Fi Internet access system powered by a 44 megabyte, fiber optic pipeline.
A higher bandwidth option is available for large business applications for a fee of $9.95 for 24 hours. "Both business and leisure guests can stay connected with friends, family, and colleagues from the comfort of their hotel room free-of-charge," said Thomas McCaffrey, director of sales and marketing for The New Yorker Hotel.
