In a time where trust is integral within the travel industry, Hotel Follower newly released Hotel Trust Index ranks the most trusted hotel brands around the world.
The Hotel Trust Index has analysed 100 of the world's top hotel brands to identify which brand has the highest level of consumer trust. The study was conducted by analysing social media engagement and search volume interest for the brand among consumers.
Coming out in the top spot is the Marriott. The long established brand has a hotel in every major city and is known for its tasteful decor and luxury experience. The hotel has also demonstrated its values during the coronavirus outbreak with the CEO of the hotel chain cutting their salary entirely, so as to support their employees.
Rounding out the top 5 are the Hilton, RIU Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts, and the Ritz Carlton.
At the bottom end of the scale is Sorell.
