Thomson congratulates Mediterranean Beach

Limassol`s Mediterranean Beach<.> hotel was recently bestowed a 5T Gold Award for the 1998-99 winter season by UK tour operator Thomson Holidays, in what has become somewhat of a tradition for the unit.

The hotel`s general manager, Stefanos Stefanou, said that the honour held especial significance as it was one on which Thomson`s Cyprus clients voted.

Mediterranean Beach previously took out the Thomson awards for winter 1997-98 and summer 1998.

Stefanou is pictured receiving the award from Geoffrey Bezina, Thomson`s director for Cyprus.
