Travel Innovator Sweet Inn appoints former Google Exec Eitan Reisel as new Chief Revenue Officer

Sweet Inn, a ‘travel concept’ startup which combines 5 star hotel services with luxury apartment living to deliver one-of-a-kind city travel experiences, scoops former Google Sector Lead to head up brand marketing, sales and revenue strategy.

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL – Sweet Inn, an international startup in the hospitality industry, announced the appointment of Eitan Reisel to Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). The appointment is a key senior executive hire for the global travel innovator. In his role as CRO, Reisel will accelerate the company’s growth and  continued success as a global brand by developing data-driven technology to power its real-time, location-specific customer service touchpoints. Based at the company’s Tel Aviv headquarters, Reisel will head up Sweet Inn’s  sales, marketing and data departments, reporting to Sweet Inn CEO, Paul Besnainou.

Offering stylish vacation apartments in over 10 major cities worldwide, Sweet Inn delivers a bespoke customer experience that provides guests the services and amenities they want and need, right at their fingertips. Each of the travel innovator’s modern, centrally located boutique apartments combine five-star hotel amenities such as daily maid service, cosmetic products, grocery delivery, laundry collection, and concierge with the independence and flexibility that come with staying in one’s own apartment.

A seasoned expert in technology and data-driven consumer marketing, Reisel joins Sweet Inn following a  successful career in senior leadership roles at  some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated brands, including Google Israel.

During his time at Google, Reisel spent over half a decade working across its Industry, Data Science, Marketing and Sales divisions. His most recent role at Google immediately prior to joining Sweet Inn was Sector Lead of Gaming, where he worked with leading edge game developers on brand development and implementation of data-driven marketing strategies and processes.

Combining his extensive knowledge of data-driven marketing and gaming analytics, Reisel proved a natural choice to lead Sweet Inn’s industry shaping hospitality proposition. Reisel’s first mission at Sweet Inn will be to increase the company’s global footprint by launching new, data-driven models for pricing, marketing and sales techniques. He will further Sweet Inn’s ongoing effort to increase customer loyalty and enhance customer satisfaction using seamless digital flows, such as smart check-in, AI-based concierge services and improved online experience.

“I am very excited to join the Sweet Inn family,” commented Reisel. “This international company delivers a unique new way to travel and explore the world in comfort and style, and I am confident that we will grow this dynamic, unparalleled travel concept to new heights. Travel has always been my passion, and combining data-driven marketing with Sweet Inn’s commitment to innovating and elevating the customer experience will help us rapidly expand this unique proposition around the world.”

A former officer of the Israeli Navy, Reisel holds a BA in Business from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya and is a graduate of the Zell Entrepreneurship program and executive marketing program at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
