The 157-room property is debuting an $18 million renovation, offering guests the opportunity to “Stay Independent” in a stylish new take on the elegance of Coral Gables.

“Fresh from its meticulous redesign, Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables is a true representation of the Tribute Portfolio brand thanks to its one-of-a-kind amenities, such as the quirky Game Room, and stylish new design that taps into the history of charming Coral Gables,” said Lori Strasberg, Vice President of Global Brand Management for Tribute Portfolio. “We’re thrilled to work alongside Pivot Hotels & Resorts, the lifestyle and luxury division of Davidson Hotels & Resorts, in bringing a little bit of indie to the local area.”

Newly imagined by Dawson Design Associates, from the glamorous event venues to the sleek and modern guest rooms, each space features aesthetic inspired by the local destination. All 157 guest rooms now feature warm wood floors and contemporary stainless steel pedestal beds, complemented by sleek sectional sofas and bronze, smoked glass desks.  Guests can enjoy a number of indie-inspired touches, including the C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries bath amenities.

Guests can enjoy a number of hotel features, including a landscaped rooftop terrace and adjacent pool with panoramic views of downtown Coral Gables. Seasonal events include rooftop yoga with meditation and tea ceremonies, Aqua Cycle classes and a variety of other offerings that incorporate the local community and business. Designed to bring out the “kid at heart” in everyone, the Game Room boasts a number of activities, such as billiards, tabletop shuffleboard and video games, and serves as a hub for both visitors and locals, featuring experiences such as liquor tastings and craft demonstrations. Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables is also home to 23,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space, ranging from grand ballrooms to intimate salons. Multifunctional meeting and event facilities are available with an abundance of natural light and unique architectural details, such as marble-tiled rotundas and a picturesque fountain under a high domed ceiling. The Parlor Room, exuding a classic church steeple feel, will cater to small weddings, corporate functions and social gatherings. Events can also be hosted in the hotel’s impressive rooftop space.

“Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is a modern yet elegant hotel that caters to spirited travelers, adventure-seekers and work-hard-play-harder road warriors,” said Patricia Davis, vice president of sales, marketing and revenue management of Pivot Hotels and Resorts. “Our promise at Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables is to inject a sense of indie and adventure into the hotel while honoring the rich history of Coral Gables.”
