The price of a standard double room in Paris fell by seven percent from April to May to 127 pounds per night. Hotel prices have also become more favourable Italian cities such as Turin (102 pounds), Naples (86 pounds) and Bologna (100 pounds) that also offer sunny climes. Hotel accommodation is also affordable in Lisbon (95 pounds), Valencia (78 pounds), Granada (75 pounds) and Madrid (96 pounds), as well as in South-East Europe in Sofia (86 pounds) and Bucharest (99 pounds).
In the United Kingdom hotel prices have increased, the price for a double room in London is 130 pounds, eight percent more than in April (120 pounds). The price of a standard double room in Edinburgh is 110 pounds in May (100 pounds in April).
