Unique and innovative new eco camp to open in the Seychelles this winter

Eight sustainable eco pods created from sympathetically restored shipping containers will form an integral part of the new Blue Safari Seychelles concept.

Experience for the first time the pure untouched beauty of one of the most remote atolls in the Seychelles while preserving its delicate eco-system. Experts in blending sustainable tourism with luxury to create memorable experiences, Blue Safari Seychelles, will open a unique and sustainable eco camp on Wizard Island in Cosmoledo, one of the most remote wildernesses in the Seychelles.

Eight sustainable eco pods created from sympathetically restored shipping containers will form an integral part of the new Blue Safari Seychelles concept, which aims to promote conservation of the outer atolls through low-impact eco-tourism projects to conserve and protect the abundant natural resources.

This cluster of 21 islands until now only inhabited by the richest biodiversity in the outer islands offers a pristine wilderness including marine turtles, nesting seabirds and prolific amounts of fish. Fully immerse yourself in nature, fly-fishing giant trevally and barracuda, kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling with the chance to be the first person to experience previously undiscovered coral reefs or dive sites.

Designed to allow guests to reconnect with nature while respecting it – the entire eco-camp can be completely removed without any footprint – each eco pod has been exceptionally designed to minimise environmental impact while maximising guest comfort:

  • Local woods and a palette of soft neutrals ensure each pod blends seamlessly with the sand, surrounding palm trees and dune shrubs.
  • Fully retractable front walls reveal the ocean and cooling sea breezes
  • The entire eco-camp can be completely removed without any footprint
  • Healthy and delicious Seychellois Creole cuisine includes fresh line-caught fish and vegetables grown on nearby Alphonse Island
