Virgin Atlantic becomes Worldhotels’ 18th airline partner

Worldhotels has welcomed Virgin Atlantic as its 18th airline partner, further strengthening a network of frequent flyer programs that is the largest offered by independent hotels in the world.

The partnership allows Virgin Atlantic Flying Club members to collect miles at more than 450 unique hotels in 65 countries worldwide. In total, Worldhotels’ partnership network now enables more than 240 million frequent flyers to collect miles for the world’s leading frequent flyer programs. Unlike most independent hotels, properties that are affiliated with Worldhotels are able to provide this add-on value to their guests.

Flying Club members will be able to earn from 500 miles per stay on qualifying rates at all participating Worldhotels properties around the world.

Founded in 1984, Virgin Atlantic is the UK’s second largest carrier. Based at London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester, the airline operates long-haul services to 33 destinations across the globe including North America, the Far East, Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean. Virgin Atlantic has one of the youngest fleets of aircraft in the skies, offering three stylish cabins, with Economy, Premium Economy and Upper Class, all providing award-winning in-flight entertainment and service. Virgin Atlantic flies six million people a year and now employs over 9,000 worldwide.
