Virgin Hotels Branson will join Virgin Hotels Chicago as the second Midwest property in the portfolio, with Nashville and New York opening in 2016 and 2017.
LONDON, UK – Virgin Hotels, the lifestyle hotel brand by Virgin Group founder and British entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson, has announced plans to open its next property in Branson, Missouri. The announcement comes on the heels of Richard Branson discovering that his entrepreneurial roots were planted in Missouri when his great-great Uncle founded the city.
“With such a deep family connection to Branson, Missouri, I’m delighted Virgin Hotels has chosen to expand its Midwest offering, and open a property in the city my great-great uncle built. Branson is already a top destination for local tourists and Virgin Hotels along with its sister companies, Virgin America, Virgin Group US and others will surely drive national interest and increase tourism,” said Richard Branson.
Virgin Hotels Branson will feature 200 Chambers including 20 Grand Chamber Suites and Two Penthouse Suites, multiple food and beverage outlets that reflect the great farming industry of the Midwest, and a live-music venue that pays tribute to Dolly Parton and other country stars who frequently perform in Missouri.
