Vitur Summit, the flagship European short-term rental event held in Malaga next week from Wednesday to Friday (May 10th to May 12th), has set up the first showcase of a sustainable vacation rental at the heart of the convention center.

The Vitur Sustainable Living Experience, a showcase apartment by Kave Homes and built in the heart of Malaga’s Convention Center, will be unveiled in collaboration with Sustonica.

Equipped with sustainable features, the property serves as a model for reducing the environmental and social impact of holiday rental properties.

Short-term rental owners and managers can improve their Sustonica score by adopting the sustainable solutions showcased in the Vitur Sustainable Living Experience. These include using tap water filtering devices, occupancy sensors, digital guidebooks, toiletries free of microplastics and eco-friendly towels and linens.

“We are excited to partner with Sustonica to promote sustainable practices in the short-term rental industry,” said Carlos Peěrez-Lanzac de Lorca organiser of the Vitur Summit. “Vitur Summit is gathering the most influential leaders in our sector and all agree that sustainability is at the top priority. It will take a central role in the agenda of the event.”
