VRTECH focuses on the vacation cental community with a renewed vision

The transformation highlights three pillars that stand for VRTECH’s central values – community, innovation and insights.

BARCELONA – VRTECH announces their new rebrand as the largest global community that brings together vacation rental professionals to inspire each other, share ideas and accelerate innovation in the industry.

The transformation highlights three pillars that stand for VRTECH’s central values – community, innovation and insights. VRTECH insists that all three are needed to push the industry forward – and give members access to them through events, thought leadership, and the tech startup competition.

Particularly in light of the challenges of 2020, VRTECH strongly believes in the strength of community in order to hammer through, endure, and overcome the difficulties presented to the industry.

Launched in 2015, VRTECH has been connecting the industry’s players for 5 years. Through global events, startup competitions and content, they have created a worldwide network of engaged members who share their technology-forward and human-centric approach. So far, VRTECH has organised 80+ events in different countries, built a community of 5,000+ members, and hosted the VRTECH Startup Competition for four years in a row. The Startup Competition is a superb opportunity for young innovative companies to showcase their products and gain international visibility. Each year, winners are selected and announced at an awards ceremony during the Vacation Rental World Summit. This year’s winner Reyvoos has gained tremendous visibility already.

VRTECH also sponsors Vacation Rental Tech Week and The Trip Circus conference, which unfortunately had to be postponed due to Covid restrictions.  Vacation Rental Tech Week, the first of which was held in 2019, is a series of meet-ups and events dedicated to connecting property managers and innovative technology providers. It aims to provide an immersive experience and give participants a chance to dive deep into topics that other events don’t have time to explore.

Furthermore, VRTECH’s unique position as an all women team fully endorses female leadership and gender equality. Stay tuned for some exciting developments, particularly in this area. Vanessa de Souza Lage, VRTECH’s founder, says, “VRTECH believes that it’s essential for us to come together, discuss our industry’s future and support each other so that we can strengthen our industry and effect real change. We are so excited to be launching this revival with renewed focus and look forward to having a greater impact on our community.“
