BETHESDA, MD. – Woodmont Lodging, a real estate investment firm specializing in select-service and extended-stay hotels, and Milestone Companies, a fully integrated owner/operator of hospitality properties, have acquired the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Winston-Salem Hanes Mall and the Home2 Suites by Hilton Winston-Salem Hanes Mall. The properties will be managed by Milestone Hospitality Management, LLC. The hotels’ attractive offerings, premier brand affiliations, and shared location on a single campus in the prime Hanes Mall subdistrict of the Winston-Salem/Greensboro/High Point Triad Region, provide them with a strategic advantage over competing properties in attracting the strong and vibrant corporate, social and leisure business in the market.
Fully renovated in June 2017, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Winston-Salem Hanes Mall is a 95-room, four-story hotel, featuring a breakfast area in the lobby, guest laundry facilities, an indoor pool, fitness center and hotel-wide wireless internet access. Each of its well-appointed guestrooms is equipped with a flat-screen television, large work desk and kitchen area that includes a microwave, pantry, full sink, flatware, coffee maker and mini-refrigerator.
The newly built Home2 Suites by Hilton Winston-Salem Hanes Mall, which achieved its grand opening in February 2018, has 91 suites across four floors and is adjacent to the SpringHill Suites. Accommodations are equipped with a flat-screen television, large work desk, and a kitchen area featuring an induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, sink, flatware, coffeemaker and refrigerator.
