WoodSpring Hotels rapidly moves in South Florida

Gold Coast has signed on to build the brand’s recently launched prototype in Naples, Miramar, Tamarac and West Palm Beach.

MIAMI, FLA. – WoodSpring Hotels has partnered with Gold Coast Premier Properties to develop four, ground-up hotels in South Florida.

Complementing its two existing corporate owned WoodSpring Suites hotels in the region, Gold Coast has signed on to build the brand’s recently launched prototype in Naples, Miramar, Tamarac and West Palm Beach. These new locations are in addition to Gold Coast’s previously announced locations in Doral and Richmond Heights, which currently are under construction.

“Florida has been an exceptionally strong and active market for our company owned assets. Its demographics, growth and tourism make it one of the strongest extended-stay markets in America. We look forward to expanding our franchisee partnership in Florida with Gold Coast,” said Ron Burgett, executive vice president of franchise development and operations. “They have demonstrated an astute ability to find high barrier to new entry locations, making them ideal partners to help grow the WoodSpring brand throughout the state.”
