MPI-NJ returns to Atlantic City for Third Annual MEETS Conference 

The one and one-half day event will be held at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City and will encompass education sessions on business trends in the meetings and events industries.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Meeting Professionals International, New Jersey Chapter (MPI-NJ), will bring the purchasing power of over one hundred meeting and event industry professionals to its third annual education event. The MEETS Conference in Atlantic City on April 3-4, 2023, is a premier gathering covering the meetings education, events, travel and sales areas of the meetings industry. The conference will also highlight Atlantic City and its opportunities to people responsible for designing business, association and social meetings that get results.
The one and one-half day event will be held at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City and will encompass education sessions on business trends in the meetings and events industries. Featured topics include Career Advancement, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Attendee Engagement, among others. MEETS also includes a trade show and many opportunities to network with suppliers well versed in the needs of our industry and an opening reception to meet and greet colleagues and friends.
MPI-NJ president, Corinne Thomas, president of Absolute Events by Corrine Ltd. & Event Makers, shared “Meetings and events are a multi-million-dollar economic engine in New Jersey. MPI-NJ is extremely invested in promoting our outstanding resources, like Atlantic City, to bring value to our clients and to the local community. We are excited to be in Atlantic City again and excited to support the local community by donating needed supplies to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.”

Positive Community Impact
MPI-NJ and its members are pleased to support The Atlantic City Rescue Mission during this conference. AC Rescue Mission’s goal is to share the Gospel and to meet the physical, emotional, and other basic needs of the poor and those who are bound and bruised by addictive lifestyles in Atlantic City and the surrounding communities.
Conference attendees will bring new and gently used clothing to the conference and/or supply monetary donations to support this worthy organization in their mission. In addition, there will be opportunities during the conference to put together care packages of toiletries and non-perishable foods to be distributed to those supported by the AC Rescue Mission.
