The 15th World Connect by APG session at Westin Dragonara, Malta, from October 23-25, 2024, will explore air transport’s susceptibility to economic and political influences, featuring 450 participants and prestigious international speakers.
The 15th session of World Connect by APG will be held in the prestigious setting of the Westin Dragonara from 23 – 25 October 2024.
“It is with great pleasure that we will be back in Malta at the Westin Dragonara. We are certain to offer a high-quality welcome to all our participants” announces Jean Louis Baroux, President of World Connect 2024. He adds: “Currently we have 450 registered participants including 70 airlines represented by around a hundred of their respective managers from all over the world. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Air France & KM Malta, our official carriers. This year, we will ask a sensitive question: whether air transport is more than ever influenced by economic or political factors. About twenty prestigious speakers from different countries, all international experts in their field, will be present to try to answer this important question. Among them, I can mention: Steven F. Udvar- Hazy, Executive Chairman Air Lease Corporation, Adel Ali, CEO Air Arabia, Christine Ourmiers-Wwidener, CEO Air Caraïbes & French Bee, Bertrand Piccard, Founder Solar Impulse, and many others…”
He concludes: “A big first this year; we will use artificial intelligence to provide all our participants with simultaneous translation in several languages thanks to the company Interprefy, which specializes in this field. As every year, we will offer a classical piano concert by the winner of the 2024 Cortot Prize, Ryan WANG, followed by the traditional Gala dinner which will be offered exclusively to us in the historic enclosure of the old citadel which overlooks the port of Valletta.”
