The bi-coastal boutique hospitality PR agency has been tapped to lead US media efforts and creative activations for Canada’s second largest city.

NEW YORK, NY – Award-winning boutique PR firm GO PR, announces its representation of Tourisme Montréal, the private, non-profit travel and tourism organization that celebrates the metropolitan energy of Montréal – uniting nearly 1,000 hotels, restaurants, festivals and attractions to create resources ranging from curated itineraries to special offers for travelers and more.

“Montréal is a vibrant and creative city that has a strong ongoing relationship with the US market,” said Sylvie Charette, Chief Marketing Officer. “We have tapped GO PR to amplify our voice and support our marketing efforts to further raise visibility of Montréal amongst American travelers.”

With trend-leading storytelling and buzz-worthy activations at the heart of GO PR, the rapidly expanding Agency offers top tier media relations and creative consulting to conceptualize and execute programming for clients within the hospitality industry. From bringing in big name brand partners for hotel packages to executing high level events, GO PR has produced quality experiences for clients and their guests, most recently landing the Company at the top of Observer’s PR Power List Honor Roll 2023. In the past year, GO PR has nearly doubled its client list – serving as the go-to for indie hospitality brands like Gansevoort Meatpacking and Detroit’s Shinola Hotel as well as being tapped to help elevate the international profiles of St. Lucia’s Sunswept Resorts, VisitDenmark and more.

Kicking off their partnership at the start of peak travel season, just in time for the reopening of the Amtrak Adirondack line, connecting New York City and Montréal, GO PR and Tourisme Montréal are excited to share spring happenings bringing a refresh to the city’s hotels, restaurants and cultural experiences. Notable updates include:

  • Opening later this month will be the sleek glass and steel modern marvel, the Port of Montréal Tower at the newly re-developed Grand Quay. The tower will offer unmatched views over Old Montréal, downtown and the St. Lawrence River.
  • The boutique Hôtel Le Crystal reopened this spring, featuring open air terrasse and a downtown location just steps from the city’s busiest shopping district. Other new hotels include the Hyatt Centric Hôtel Gare Viger, the Vogue Hotel Montréal Downtown and the Art Deco inspired HONEYROSE Hotel Montréal.
  • YamaResto, the latest offering from lauded chef Antonio Park, has opened at the Hotel Vogue, featuring Japanese and Korean cuisine
  • The famous Montréal native Cirque du Soleil debuted the show ECHO on April 20, reflecting the symbiotic relationships of all living creatures on the planet. The show runs through August 20.

“We believe now is the time to bring a fresh perspective to Montréal’s tourism market development and inject more creativity into the communications program,” said Gizem Ozcelik, Founder & CEO, GO PR. “We look forward to working in tandem with the Tourisme Montréal to garner more exposure and increase travel to the destination.”
