The 2007-2008 Board of Directors, MPI Foundation Board of Trustees, MPI Foundation Canada Board of Trustees, European Council, Committee Chairs, and Chapter Presidents have been revealed by the Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
Angie Pfeifer, CMM, assistant vice president, corporate meetings, travel & incentives, Investors Group Financial Services, Inc, will assume the role as the 2007-2008 chairwoman of the International Board of Directors.
Michael Beardsley, CEO, Inn Fluent, LLC, will lead the 2007-2008 MPI Foundation Board of Trustees as MPI activates its new vision of building a global meeting industry community.
Pfeifer has been a member of MPI for 13 years, serving on the International Board of Directors and its Executive Committee for four years.
Beardsley has been a member of MPI for six years, volunteering with the MPI Foundation as a member on the Board of Trustees where he served on the Projects and Development Committee. Additionally, he served as Vice Chair of the Development Committee and has been a member of the MPI Chairpersons Advisory Council for the last five years.
