American Queen Voyages announces new appointments to its growing executive team

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – American Queen Voyages, part of Hornblower Group, adds industry veterans to the award-winning cruise line’s growing executive team. Tanay Desai and Ilan Biran join American Queen Voyages and bring decades of experience. The latest additions to the leadership team will play a pivotal role in executing President Cindy D’Aoust’s vision focused on Ports, People, and Prestige.

Tanay Desai was appointed Vice President of Commercial Strategy & Analytics. Desai has an extensive background in the hospitality, travel, and tourism industry, and more than 11 years of experience optimizing pricing and developing revenue strategies. He previously worked at the cruise line’s parent company Hornblower Group as Senior Director, Business Analytics and Insights and as Director, Consumer Insights.

Ilan Biran joins American Queen Voyages as Senior Director, Group Sales. Biran has more than 25 years of business development and sales experience. Previously, he worked as Business Development Manager, National Accounts at Norwegian Cruise Line, and as Director of Sales and Business Development at Expedia Cruises.
