Three new non-executive directors appointed by Boom to accelerate growth of world’s first AiPMS.
MIAMI – Boom, the AI Property Management Software for hospitality, has announced the appointment of three new non-executive directors as the firm prepares for its next phase of growth and expansion.
Alex Husner, an experienced marketing expert and host of the popular podcast Alex & Annie: The Real Women of Vacation Rentals, has joined Boom in a marketing advisory role. She brings with her a wealth of experience working in the short-term rental (STR) sector, including 13 years at Condo-World Resort Properties, Casago.
Richard Vaughton, a pioneer in the short-term rental space who has scaled and sold multiple property portfolios across the UK and Europe, joins Boom’s advisory board. Having founded, scaled and sold multiple short-term rental and technology companies, Richard now specializes in advising scaling businesses and M&A. His deep knowledge of the sector and tech innovation will support Boom’s strategic growth and advisory needs.
Chad Blankenship, who led Southern Vacation Rentals through over 15 years of growth – most recently as Vice President of Revenue Management and Innovation – has also joined Boom as a consultant. He played a central role in driving the company’s acquisition by VTrips and brings extensive expertise in operations, revenue management, and portfolio growth.
Boom is a company built by property managers, for property managers – starting with its founder, Shahar Goldboim, who managed over 150 vacation rentals in South Florida before realizing that the technology his team had created far surpassed anything commercially available.
Alex Husner said: “Boom’s technology is redefining what property managers can accomplish, freeing up their time to focus on strategy, innovation and business development. Joining a company at the forefront of using AI to transform the industry is an amazing opportunity to shape how marketing strategies are optimized for maximum efficiency and growth.”
Richard Vaughton said: “Having worked across various different areas of the short-term rental ecosystem, I know the sector is crying out for intelligent, but, more importantly, fully integrated solutions. Boom’s vision isn’t just to automate but to innovate, and I’m eager to contribute to that forward-thinking approach.”
Chad Blankenship said: “With Boom, I see a future where AI takes property management from a reactive industry to a proactive one, turning data into actionable insights seamlessly. Joining this team means contributing to an innovation that will empower managers to scale operations like never before.”
Shahar Goldboim, CEO and Founder of Boom, said: “Boom is at the forefront of revolutionizing property management with AI, and bringing these three industry titans on board is a monumental step forward. Their combined short-term rental expertise is unparalleled and will help shape the future of our technology in ways that address the unique challenges property managers face every day.”
