The Eastside Rooms strengthens its team with Adam Middleton as head chef and Jordan Cleary-Darrington as business development executive, signaling growth and innovation.
The Eastside Rooms continues to thrive as it announces two key appointments to its growing team. The addition of Adam Middleton as head chef and Jordan Cleary-Darrington as business development executive signals growth for The Eastside Rooms, Birmingham’s newest state-of-the-art conference centre.
Adam Middleton brings a new vision for culinary excellence as he steps into the role of head chef. With 15 years cheffing experience behind him, he brings a wealth of knowledge gained from working at high-profile venues including Marriott hotels, various conference centres, hospitality sites and law firms.
“This new role is an exciting challenge for me and a chance to put my mark on things,” Adam says. “My menus for The Eastside Rooms are designed to be modern and in keeping with current food trends. I focus on creating fork-friendly dishes that allow guests to network comfortably while enjoying their food. I’m a big believer in visual appeal too – with vibrant salad bars and buffets where the food looks as good as it tastes. I can’t wait to get creating.”
Adam’s gastronomic vision reflects The Eastside Rooms’ commitment to offering high-quality, contemporary dining experiences for conference delegates. Adam’s promotion comes as previous head chef Tony Harris moves up to the role of executive head chef, from which he will lead all aspect of catering across The Eastside Rooms and Aloft.
Outside of the kitchen, Jordan Cleary-Darrington will further energise The Eastside Room’s commercial offering as the team’s new business development executive. She brings a unique blend of experience from both hospitality and security roles at some of Birmingham’s most popular venues. “I’m excited to get my teeth into this new role and learn even more about the industry,” says Jordan. “No two days have been the same so far, and I’m loving every minute of it!”
