LONDON – Global Travel Collection UK announces the promotion of Jennifer Hartnett to Head of Contracting at Colletts Collection, the luxury B2B tour division at Colletts Travel.
In her new role, Hartnett will oversee the growth of Colletts Collection, including contracting, tour operations and marketing for the business. She will report directly to Jason Oshiokpekhai, Managing Director of Global Travel Collection UK. With the departure of Neil Robinson from the business, the overall management of the Colletts Travel brand will fall under Oshiokpekhai who also oversees Protravel International, Tzell Travel Group and Scotia Travel in the UK.
“Jennifer has been integral to the success of the business since joining the Colletts Collection team,” said Oshiokpekhai. “We are on solid footing to drive our leisure division, where we have seen an uptake of new leisure advisors looking to join Colletts in addition to the expansion of our luxury B2B tour operating arm, Colletts Collection.”
Hartnett said, “I am excited about the growth we are seeing at Colletts Collection and looking forward to continuing the successful collaboration we have had with GTC agents so far. The pandemic especially reminded agents of the importance of driving new sources of revenue and diversifying their independent business models into leisure markets. We are pleased to have been able to support them in exploring these new revenue streams and hope to expand to continue to boost their businesses within the luxury travel arena. Looking ahead, we are looking forward to the much-anticipated extension of Colletts Collection’s services to wider UK industry.”
Colletts Collection is now taking enquiries from interested agencies and travel groups who would like to explore a future relationship.
