Acclaimed Sister Properties welcome new Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Restaurants and Spa Director.
TAMPA, FL – JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street announce the appointment of three key team members to the sister properties’ executive staff: Nick Davies as Director of Food & Beverage for the collection, Shane Mott as Director of Restaurants at Tampa Marriott Water Street, as well as Sheen Mahmud as Spa Director at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street.
“We’re honored to formally welcome such seasoned hospitality professionals to our Water Street team,” said Ron McAnaugh, the properties’ General Manager. “Together, our leaders will elevate and enhance our collection from the wellness space, as well as our culinary offerings.”
With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Nick Davies has spent several years with the Marriott brand. He started his journey as the opening Director of Event Planning at the Westin Denver International Airport and later joined the Renaissance Orlando as the Director of Event Management. In Orlando, he eventually took on the Director of Food & Beverage role, overseeing event planning, event operations, culinary, stewarding and outlets.
Holding a degree from The Art Institutes in Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Management, Shane Mott joins as Director of Restaurants at Tampa Marriott Water Street. Prior to joining the Tampa market, Mott was an instrumental leader for the food and beverage team at Le Royal Meridien in Abu Dhabi, UAE during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping the property rebuild and achieve high service scores.
With over a decade of experience in the health, wellness and spa community, Sheen Mahmud will oversee the Spa by JW’s offerings. She previously held multiple positions at other Marriott properties in West Palm Beach and Pompano Beach. Mahmud, a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, previously served as Spa Director at the Epicurean Hotel, a Marriott Autograph Collection.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
