Shawn McWhorter, Kevin Bryant, and Edmundo Molina have been appointed to key leadership roles at The Barnett and Maison Métier.
Shawn McWhorter has been appointed Complex General Manager of both The Barnett and Maison Métier. With 30 years of experience as a people-first hotelier, Shawn is a leader in creating, leading and inspiring teams of hospitality professionals and brings an impressive abundance of experience to the properties and their teams. McWhorter joins The Barnett and Maison Métier from the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City Downtown where he served as Director of Operations and Area Director of Food & Beverage. Prior to that, McWhorter held multiple management positions across properties including General Manager at Radisson Salt Lake City Downtown and Hilton Salt Lake City Center, where he worked his way up across 16 years from various sales and marketing positions to Director of Operations.
Kevin Bryant has been appointed Complex Director of Sales & Marketing of both The Barnett and Maison Métier. With 28+ years of experience in hospitality and luxury resorts throughout Florida, Kevin is highly skilled, tactical, analytical and strategic in his efforts, bringing a bountiful amount of experience to the properties and their teams. Bryant joins The Barnett and Maison Métier after spending the last year developing his own consulting firm for independent resort properties, KB Hospitality Consulting. Prior to that he was Vice President of Sales at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, where he spent many years leading all sales and commercial revenue generation efforts for the 1,504 room, 4 Diamond luxury hotel property. Bryant also has experience working in the cruise sector, where he held the role of Associate Vice President, Revenue Management at Celebrity Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd in 2016.
Finally, Edmundo Molina has been appointed Complex Director of Food & Beverage of both The Barnett and Maison Métier. With 20 years of experience across hospitality and food and beverage management, Edmundo brings a wealth of knowledge to the food and beverage outlets at both The Barnett and Maison Métier. Molina joins the team from the Thompson Atlanta-Buckhead by Hyatt where he held the position, Director of Food and Beverage and oversaw all food and beverage operations of the 201-room boutique hotel. Prior to that, Molina held multiple Director of Food and Beverage roles at properties all over the world, from The Confidante Hotel by Hyatt in Miami Beach, FL to the Grand Hyatt Botoga in Botoga, Colombia. With such vast experience, Molina is perfectly poised to elevate the culinary experiences at both The Barnett and Maison Métier.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
