Davit Karapetyan appointed as Chief Product Officer of Trevolution Group, aiming to enhance product offerings and broaden market reach through innovative travel solutions.
Trevolution Group, a global travel leader operating brands like ASAP Tickets, Skylux Travel, Dreamport, Dreampass, Oojo, Vagamo, Triplicity, International Travel Network and others, announced the appointment of Davit Karapetyan as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Davit will lead the product management team and will solidify the Group’s position as a leader in the travel sector by focusing on broadening market reach and integrating new content providers.
“Davit understands the core of our travel business, he speaks the language of the product teams, and he is deeply committed to our customers, delivering exceptional products and outstanding
service tailored to their needs; it is a combination that is as rare as it is valuable,” Alex Weinstein, the founder of Dyninno Group and Trevolution Group commented. “Trevolution is about bold decisions and thinking outside of the box, and Davit’s experience, covering various stages of actual product development, gives him an unprecedented edge when it comes to delivering ideas that are both innovative and practical.”
Davit joined the team in 2021 as an Engineering Manager and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming Head of Engineering. With a background in software architecture and cross-functional
leadership, he brings a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of both technical and business needs. His experience spans key roles at Accenture and Visma Labs, showcasing his expertise in building effective systems and leading successful teams. At the start of his tenure, Davit will prioritize three key areas: improving product development flow, enhancing work prioritization across teams, and boosting the overall efficiency of development processes. By focusing on these practical changes, he hopes to make Trevolution Group’s product offerings more responsive to customer needs and ultimately elevate the customer experience.
“The current roster of the Group’s products is strong and well-positioned, it needs a bit of time and focused guidance, and I’m sure we will win over the hearts of travelers worldwide not just with the top-of-the-line customer service we provide across our lineup, but also with useful functionalities, ancillary services and other innovations that will slowly but surely transform the way we think about travel,” Davit explains.
In 2025, Trevolution Group will focus on expanding its market presence and enhancing mobile applications, following the alignment of its product teams and workflows. The Group also envisions
incorporating features like money transfers and cryptocurrency payments within the app, catering to clients who frequently visit friends and family abroad.
