DANA POINT, CALIF. – Visit Dana Point, the destination marketing organization for Dana Point, Calif., has appointed Quentin Roberts as director of sales. In this role, Roberts will be responsible for the sales and promotion of the resort hotels in Dana Point.
Roberts brings more than two decades of experience in group business and relationship-building for major hospitality brands including Marriott, Hilton, Evolution Hospitality and Interstate Hotels & Resorts, as well as independent properties and destinations. Most recently, he served as the director of sales for Long Beach’s historic ocean liner-turned floating hotel, The Queen Mary, where he drove group bookings and promoted special events and ticketed attractions. Prior to that, he held the vice president of sales position at the Long Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau, marketing this destination to association planners, and securing citywide programs.
“As a long-time Southern California resident, I couldn’t be more enthusiastic about joining the Visit Dana Point team, and helping to spread awareness of the destination as a world-class oceanfront retreat,” said Roberts.

Roberts resides in Southern California with his wife, Kasey, and their two children.
