TEMPE, ARIZ. – Leisure lovers and business voyagers alike can now experience an elevated stay at Courtyard Tempe Downtown. Encounter refreshed accommodations in the lobby, dining, meeting and fitness spaces thanks to a $5 million renovation.

Spend time in the lobby lounge, offering newly added furnishings and artwork. Travelers can take advantage of the redesigned media pods, complete with contemporary furnishings and personal TVs, perfect for semi-private gatherings.

The lobby also showcases a revamped restaurant. The Bistro still serves delectable American cuisine, Starbucks® coffee and evening cocktails but has enhanced the dining experience with novel tables, chairs, trendy light fixtures and new flooring and paint. Grab a drink at the bar to finish off the night in Tempe or complete work tasks at the communal table with accessible outlets.

Guests can get a taste of relaxation in modernized rooms and suites. Along with the convenience of complimentary Wi-Fi, travelers can delight in new and luxurious beds, plush carpet and re-painted walls. Pullout sofas have also been added to accommodate family members and friends. Newly added mini-refrigerators along with coffee makers help curb cravings for late-night snacks or early morning java.

Revived decor, artwork and ergonomic workstations help to put the mind and body at ease. Delight in a pamper session in guest bathrooms featuring updated tile and shower surrounds.

The remodel project also extended into other parts of the hotel. Exercise goals can now be achieved in the revived fitness center. Break a sweat when utilizing new cardio equipment and free weights. Guests can also soak in some of Arizona's sunshine during a swim at the renovated outdoor pool complete with patio chairs.

"Our guests can now embark on an entirely reimagined stay," said General Manager Jim O'Meara. "The $5 million upgrade touches every part of our hotel experience. From residing in our private rooms and suites to dining, meeting and working out in our public spaces, we wanted to provide a modern approach to travel."

Professionals' needs are met at the improved business center and in the hotel's three meeting spaces. Prepare presentations, print documents and send emails using the free Wi-Fi, computers and printers available in the business center. Air travelers can also benefit from the hotel's complimentary airport shuttle service and Boarding Pass print station.

Set the standard for success by hosting meetings and weddings in one of three remodeled event rooms. Socialites can utilize upgraded furnishings, lighting and AV equipment. New carpet and paint help to set the tone for memorable gatherings of up to 70 attendees. Hosts can also benefit from catering options to enhance special occasions in downtown Tempe.
