Aegean Airlines, a Star Alliance member, is working exclusively with TripAdvisor’s Viator, the world’s leading provider of tours, activities and attractions, to bring bookable experiences to its users.
Aegean is now selling Viator products through a white label service. The deal allows Aegean users to quickly search tours, attractions and activities in their destination, read reviews, and make bookings on the Aegean site.
“At Aegean, we’re always looking for ways to help our customers make the most of their destination, and working with Viator does exactly that,” says Elias Mandroukas, Director Digital and Loyalty. "Through the new partnership, Aegean is providing their customers with access to a wide selection of activities, from traditional sightseeing tours to unique local activities, for a great destination experience.”
“We’re delighted to work with Aegean and provide their customers with access to our extensive and growing selection of tours and activities all over the world,” said Ben Drew, Vice President, Business Development, Viator.
The deal brings two major international brands together to help travelers plan their trip and experience their destination like a local. Viator, the world’s largest online provider of tours, activities, and attractions, offers more than 60,000 bookable tours, activities and experiences in 2,500 destinations. Aegean is the largest Greek airline, with 12.5 million passengers in 2016, and flights to 145 destinations in 40 countries.
