Aimbridge Hospitality to assume management of Canada’s Four Points by Sheraton Surrey

The addition of this management contract is part of Aimbridge Hospitality’s expansion into the Canadian market.

DALLAS, TEXAS – Aimbridge Hospitality, North America’s largest and most recognized independent hotel investment and management firm, announces it will soon assume the management of a Canadian Four Points by Sheraton in Surrey, British Columbia.

Aimbridge Hospitality is focusing on expansion into Canada following the recent hiring of Ian McAuley as president overseeing development in the Canadian market.

“We look forward to achieving the same pace of growth and success in Canada as Aimbridge Hospitality has experienced in the United States,” said Ian McAuley, President, Canada, at Aimbridge Hospitality.

The management of this 77-key hotel, which will commence on June 1, marks the second Canadian property in Aimbridge Hospitality’s international portfolio.

“This property is a nice addition to our international management portfolio as we continue to expand in Canada and beyond,” said Dave Johnson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aimbridge Hospitality. “Our growth plans for 2019 are strong throughout Canada, the United States and the Caribbean.”

The hotel, located at 10410 158 Street in Surrey, BC, is owned by a private Chinese real estate investor.
